Garden Exchange – NEW GROUP! |
|
If you find yourself with a surplus of garden produce, or if you had a crop that didn’t make it to harvest, the Garden Exchange is a wonderful opportunity to exchange with other SonRise gardeners. The group follows a bring-a-vegetable, take-a-vegetable kind of principle.
The Garden Exchange table will be set up in the lobby from approximately May through October. Anyone can bring produce to exchange at anytime – no need to “join the group.” Bring your produce and place it in the appropriate baskets, marked organic and sprayed/treated. Please wash your produce before bringing it to church.
If there is interest, a jams and jellies exchange will be held in October or November.
