Disciple Bible Study is for people looking to participate in an intense, in-depth Bible Study.  Regular attendance is encouraged, and the classes are closed to new participants after they begin.  There are four Disciple Bible Studies available throughout the year. 

Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study

            This is an excellent foundation for any Christian and for any of the other Disciple studies.  It shows the connection between New and Old Testaments.  A pre-requisite of Disciple 1 is suggested.  There is required reading of approximately 20 Bible chapters each week, which will result in a total of 679 Bible chapters read throughout the 34 week session.

Into the Word, Into the World

            This is an in-depth study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts.  There are fewer Bible chapters to read as compared to Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study, but this class requires more intense study.  There is required reading of approximately 11 Bible chapters each week, which will result in a total of 332 Bible chapters read throughout the 32 week session.  

Remember Who You Are

            This is an in-depth study of the Old Testament and Paul’s letters.  It covers some of the most interesting parts of the Bible.  There is required reading of approximately 15 Bible chapters each week, which will result in a total of 460 Bible chapters read throughout the 32 week session

Under the Tree of Life

            This is an in-depth study of the Old Testament Writings (Ruth, Esther, Lamentations, Proverbs, Job, Song of Solomon, Psalm, etc.) and the books of John and Revelations.  The class also includes an excellent video on Revelations.  There is required reading of approximately 16 Bible chapters each week, which will result in a total of 500 Bible chapters read throughout the 32 week session.

Fall 2010 Class: Disciple 3 Bible Study

            This will be a 33-week evening Bible Study, starting on Tuesday, September 21st, 9:30 a.m., at SonRise.  Class members are expected to purchase the instructional book, cost TBA.
