The ASL Signing Choir worships God with ASL sign language and music.  The choir meets for rehearsals on Mondays from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at SonRise Church.  During rehearsals, they learn sign language and practice music that they sign to.  The choir shares their music at church events, community events, and parades.  The dates and times for the events this fall are to be announced.  The group is open to new members, deaf or hearing, at any time; previous signing experience is not necessary.

The adult choir is open to anyone who is interested in singing in a group.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm during the academic year.  It is open to singers of all abilities and interests.  Chris Reed is the director.  Come and sing your love for the Lord!  Join the choir with an open spirit for fun and fellowship, and to meet new people with the same love of music.

The SonRise Worship Team helps usher the congregation into the presence of God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit through the medium of music and leads others within the church by supporting their worship.  The Worship Team is open to qualified musicians after filling out an application form and joining rehearsals for an internship time before sharing music on Sunday mornings.  Members of the Worship Team are required to come regularly to rehearsals and participate in both worship services on Sunday mornings.  At rehearsals, the team practices the upcoming music, builds friendships among members, and prays.
