The UM Men’s Club was formed as a group to serve the church and provide fellowship for the men of SonRise. It is open to men of all ages. Over the past year, the Men’s Club has been responsible for building the playground, sponsoring the Sweetheart Valentine’s Day dinner, and various work projects around the church.
The Men’s Club will meet at SonRise Church on Tuesdays, September 8th and November 10th , at 6:00 p.m., as well as Saturdays, October 10th and December 12th , at 8:30 a.m. Voluntary dues are $20.00.

United Methodist Women (UMW) |

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. The SonRise UMW does studies of missions and social issues, financially supports the McCurdy School and Red Bird Mission and has a prayer calendar for missionaries. The meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at SonRise Church. They consist of fellowship with refreshments, a business meeting and mission program. We are also involved in district leadership and education programs.
