The purpose of Children’s Worship is to help our children from Kindergarten through 5th grade learn and worship God, Jesus, and the Spirit through interactive and age-appropriate ways. Children’s Worship meets Sunday mornings following the children’s sermon during the 2nd service (10:30). The children follow an order of worship: greeting, prayer, story using manipulative figures (sermon), and response time. The response time includes working individually with previous stories, drawing, reading, and praying. Closing time brings the children back together in blessing.
All storytellers and assistants are asked to serve throughout the academic year. Storytellers and assistants may serve on a rotational basis.

The Gospel According to Dr. Seuss
Acolytes are children in Kindergarten through 5th grade that light the candles at the beginning of the worship service, and then take the light out of the sanctuary at the end. The purpose of the group is to have children participate in worship. Ushers assist the child in lighting the candle and informing him/her when it is time to light the candles. There is no regular meeting, but children are expected to be at church prior to worship on the Sundays they are scheduled. Notify contact person to add your child to the schedule.
