VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR MOBILE SHOWER PROGRAM THROUGH COOPERATIVE CARE: The mobile shower program is in need of a volunteer(s) who would be willing to deliver the trailer and pickup to the shower sites and then return to storage at the end of the session.

Specifics:

  • The pickup truck is located at Cooperative Care downtown.

  • The trailer is stored in Pueblo West.

  • Set up begins at 7:30am (rotates between two locations: the Soup Kitchen and the Rescue Mission). The truck and trailer would need to be delivered by this time.

  • Tear down begins at noon at the Soup Kitchen and 1pm at the Rescue Mission. The volunteer driver should plan to return as clean up is taking place to be ready to return the trailer and pickup truck to storage.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who has experience with driving/handling camper trailers. A schedule for multiple volunteers is available. You do not have to volunteer every day the showers are in operation.

For more information, call Tobey at Cooperative Care, 543-7484.

You can also contact Pastor Carrie with questions.

Cans can be placed at the back of the lobby for the Youth fund. Thanks so much for your amazing support, SonRise family!!
